Today, Dolphins Sub-Aqua Club appeared on BBC Newsline following a day of filming at Strangford Lough with BBC journalist Paddy Fee.

Paddy joined members for a dive from Portaferry to the Outer Lees. Filming took place both underwater during the dive and above water, with cameras on the boat and aerial footage captured by drone. The result is a short piece showing club diving in Northern Ireland and the coastal environment in which it takes place.

The feature episode has expired from BBC iPlayer but was archived to YouTube [here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bcFrUyvpKs4)

The club was also referenced across BBC news and radio - [https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cvgj4k3mrz8o](https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cvgj4k3mrz8o)

If watching the programme has sparked a New Year’s resolution to try something different, diving could be a great place to start! Dolphins run try dives for complete beginners, as well as training and regular diving for qualified divers. We train at Queen’s Sport, Queen’s University Belfast — get in touch via the website and come and give it a go!
