G'lees wreck - happy days

David, Sean, Edie, Hannah and Mal at Inner Lees for drills and Hannah’s first drysuit dive. Brief done and all in the water in time for slack water. Viz was fantastic. We swam underwater to the wreck; a bit of practice with the compass. Wreck was easy to see in the distance and we swam along the seaward side seeing bloody Henry’s, lobster, butterfish, cone jelly’s, bib, conger, hermit crabs and the usual array of crabs and gobies. Max depth was 12 metres with an average of 10, water temperature 10.5 and dive time 40 mins. Big thanks to Sharon, Sean’s mum, who did shore cover and supplied doughnuts on our exit. Gorgeous day and great viz made for a very enjoyable dive.
